Hi all,

 

i was talking with my paint guys yesterday about the next build, which my wife has told me I cant have, after this mk2 is finished.

And I was wondering what everyone else is dreaming of.

For me, Ive always wanted a mk2 Escort in JPS colours, black with gold pinstripes and gold inserts on diamond  type alloys. Thats been on my list since the early 80s.

recently we had a ford Kuga 2.0 td and it went quite well, if I had time, money and permission I would  like to cut all the exterior panel off that and put an arched mk2 van body on it. Just to be different.

in the end though, Id happily settle for a reliable, fast road escort..... unless my numbers come up on the lottery  that is

For me would be replica of my first car mk1 gt bubble arched cortina in maroon with silver stripe

Mine would be a droop snoot Firenza with a nice 2.6 lotus under the bonnet.

it might be the cortina goes to get one 🤔

that was going to be stripped if it didnt sell as its got too much power to be driveable

Looks good but the wheel travel on the suspenders must be tiny?
