So Whose Buying an Ami?

Just saw a news article that Citroen are planning on selling these tiny electric cars called the Ami for 5 thousand quid in the UK. Only good for 47miles and 28mph top speed? So any of you guys rushing out to order one? They say they have already had huge interest?

I did once own a rusty red Citroen Ami 8....................... but I probally won't own an electric car.

I expect the ****s blocking the m25 will buy them.. then they can just drive around the m25 flat out or run out of battery and stop the traffic...

Only practical as city only cars - even a commute would kill them without a recharge + unless you go the slowest route you'll never keep up with reasonable traffic flow = a car with no useful purpose - typical French car then LOL!

But its French so maybe you can use it as a Port-A-Loo at meets and events and stuff? Oh wait its electric, would that cause short circuits and power arcing up the stream? Ouch!
