Started with them touring around Florida in a fairly beat up 80's RV, going donk racing (WTF is with those stupid big wheels??) swamp buggy racing and monster truck pulling. Watching paint dry was more appealing.

katana Posted June 6, 2022 Report Posted June 6, 2022 I used to be an avid TG fan but now can't be arsed to watch 'live' and i've deleted the last two series without watching any of them! They seem to be trying too hard to out-do the originals for being daft with stupider & more outrageous stunts, so i'm not even recording this series! Shame as there is knob all else on terrestrial telly Sunday nights!

We really don't, I didn't even know what a donk was until you told me! Its seems to have come about from the V8 Muscle cars scene that often originate in the USA and their big wheel culture trickled in through there. (as its mainly street machine mag I see these big wheel Aussie cars) We have a bad wheel culture but not much of a big wheel culture if you know what I mean? 😀 1

BaileyMex Posted June 10, 2022 Report Posted June 10, 2022 I used to enjoy watching it, but I'm not fussed these days. I think it all got a bit to 'look at me' rather than the cars.
