Thanks for adding me, I’m into my 7th decade and still have the same passion for rear wheel drive escorts I had 55 years ago.
Have a healthy mk1 van and I slightly disabled 13 gt that keep me tinkering .

Welcome, from one newbie to another! Good to see there's still the old guard hanging in there. I'm not the one to be asking since I'm terrible at getting pics uploaded (honestly, I will try!) but would love to see the van in particular.

Hit my 7th decade this year, as long as I wake up with a pulse I consider it a bonus, and if I feel down I just start my old Xflow and even a 10 minute drive has me grinning like a happy monkey.

Welcome to the Monkey house!😂

Waking up without a pulse would be quite an achievement 😮

Dont our politicians do it every day? I suspect they signed deals to keep themselves living forever. They certainly wake up without a conscience!

Alternator light came on on my mk1 whilst out on a sunny day's drive yesterday.

I put her back in the garage and shut the door on the problem. Can't be bothered either.

It wasn't flickering, it was on. All the instruments died and the wipers stopped working too.

Sounds like a dodgy earth if ever there was one. Worth tracking down while it's still broken though, those things can "self heal" and then come back to bite you at the worst time!
