capri_boy Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 had a bit of a busy day working on the capri, i cant afford to fit the X pack kit till after xmas, or fit a new engine. So in the mean time im just tidying up the car and as i have a Cossie Spoiler i fitted it up to see how it would look, what do u guys think???? It would be painted white along with the car!!! im fitting these wheels too, (2.8i Special Rims)
antz Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 its your car so do what you want in the end....i actually like the whale tails and always have so i voted yes

RFChris Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 its your car so do what you want in the end.... Indeed. BUT! Bear this little nugget of info in mind...... A Capri needs a Cosworth whale tail in the same way that a fish needs a bicycle.

mk14dr Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 clean and simple is the way forward, just rely on the strength of the original design

Doc Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 If you have the tail you better have the right amount of go under the bonnet mate .... Keep it oldskool imo
Jay_harrier Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 a useful alternative to a fold away table at a picnic... If you've got it then give it a go, you can always try something different if you get bored of it or you keep trapping your fingers in the hatch lid when gravity gets the better of the tailgate struts....
RFChris Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 ........or you keep trapping your fingers in the hatch lid when gravity gets the better of the tailgate struts.... LMAO!

Jimsiss Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 from the side it looks ok but from the back it looks a bit weird, the low quality photos don't help either, I'm undecided so I'm not going to vote
BaileyMex Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 sell it on ebay to the plastic fantastic posse Dont think Darren would want it on his Escort M8 But I think some of the others are right, I think it would look better without, but its your motor

I dont like them on capri's but If It was me that was undicided I would fit it and run it for a few months then if you decide you like it you can keep it and if it piss's you of then you can remove it and flog it on gay bay
