Anyone else not driving there osf to santa pod.....recently had probs with mine and even though its fixed lost all confidence in it and cant be doing with it beaking down or blowing up so thinking gonna take a beemer instead :sad:

Take the OSF! Just make sure you give it a bloody good checkover beforehand if you're worried. Oil, filter and plugs, check the ignition system and engine, gearbox and suspension mounts are tight, check the transmission for any funny noises or undue slack... job's a good'un. :thumbsup:

Take the Ford, it's all part of the experience.

 

Thinking about it another way, there's an awful lot more to go wrong with a modern car than there is with a simple X - flow or pinto

Thanks for the replies guys would love to take it but will worry about it getting nicked and only cruises at 60mph which i knows gonna piss me off on the motorway :shock: because of the axle gearing :?

dont worry about cruisding at 60 mph and i really dont think itll get nicked from the pod

perhaps i should just leave earlier and put up with 60mph on the m25 and just cruise instead of racing there 8)

 

i drove to ford fair with mine on its last legs on the way home i had to go 40 most of the way lol find a vw camper and sit behind it its less embarassin lol :thumbsup:

 

if we see you on the way there ill kick mine off the trailer and get ya there :ykt:

USE THE FORD LUKE :lol:

 

Mate, I've just put a 4:1 diff in mine, running a 4 speed box and on 175/50/13's, so I wont be screaming it up there at 80mph trust me!!

 

Meet us all on Saturday morning and were cruise up together :thumbsup:
