escort greg Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Anyone else not driving there osf to santa pod.....recently had probs with mine and even though its fixed lost all confidence in it and cant be doing with it beaking down or blowing up so thinking gonna take a beemer instead
antz Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 take some spanners and get there! if it breaks then get the AA to tow you there and buy some bits to fix it and drive it home
Gonzo Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Take the OSF! Just make sure you give it a bloody good checkover beforehand if you're worried. Oil, filter and plugs, check the ignition system and engine, gearbox and suspension mounts are tight, check the transmission for any funny noises or undue slack... job's a good'un.
Fiesta Steve Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Dive the OSF, in my experience, BMW's are less reliable than OSF's
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 i agree with all above but as mine got stolen i will be in still rwd ford xr4i hoping to be in osf again next year
Admin Vista Posted June 6, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 6, 2007 Take the Ford, it's all part of the experience. Thinking about it another way, there's an awful lot more to go wrong with a modern car than there is with a simple X - flow or pinto
