kevmk2 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 in 2001 my box ran 13.00 @ 103mph at ultimate FAST car in the D class 1650-2150cc and between 95-02 it won its class out right every year up untill i RETIRED from U F C as it got boring so i declare mine the most consistent low budget garden shed on wheels and ill put me back seats in when required. ps gaz mr clarke said down the mile when your ready he said the cage that i built in to the car makes up for the rear seats missing Thats good times, but didnt you used to run those Technic slicks back then,i seem to remember seeing them and you still wheelspinning off the line with them on
MK2Ed Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I'm keeping queit and looking forward to see what mine will do... I will be running full trim, no slicks at the Test and Tune Day but after that will be back to the slicks I'm afraid When is that then? I believe March or April - but don't quote me on that...

Guest MK1gaz Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 We still need to question Tony (petrolhead01) about his 12.9 sec pass in a street legal condition without gas + slicks because if he honestly wasn't spraying in extra bhp from his well used blue bottle in the boot then he's the fastest . In fact he's the only one ever to get under a 13.0 sec pass (that we know of) so he should be able to get near his 12.9 sec time when we're all looking closely this year

Toby Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Great entertaining find Gaz Didn't realise that was Mike in the yellow escort - that means he's been famous for years!! Nearly as long as Puddy I think mine was in an Oct 88 issue of fast car when I was 3 (ish )and liked to dress like Bros!! Ripped jeans (bought like that!!) with patches sown on the inside for "show" Think they nearly came back in a couple of years ago, but I couldn't find them!!
Guest MK1gaz Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Here's the list of the fastest 10 in the N.A. 1851-2150cc rwd class at ultimate fast car in 1996 at santa pod . Remember this is on street rubber , mot legal at the time and no gas
w p e Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 and the sponsor of my class just wheels bumped me for the £100 gift token said it would be in the post . never did get it.
Guest MK1gaz Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Ultimate fast car 1992 . This car Y00 255L is still about today owned by a nice fella called Mark who lives nearby to me . Rewind back 16 years to 1992 when it was owned by another nice fella called Jim Corns . Jim had an H.T. Racing atmo cossie in it and fooooooooooook me was it quick . This car managed a 13.66 secs 1992 . That is legendary performance from a N.A. 4 cylinder oldskoolford street legal car with no gas on a set of old 185/60/13's !!!!!!!!
