Went down the garge yesterday afternoon to do some work on the car to find out it had been broken into - gutted

all my fishing gear has gone missing plus some car bits, the tackle alone was worth in excess of 1400 quid.

Thing is i was in the garage at 1pm then went out for an hour and spent the rest of the afternoon building a wardrobe in the bedroom. Went in the garage at 4.30pm and it was all gone. The cheeky cnuts robbed me in broad day light and i might've even been in the house when they did it!

suffice to say the garage is now doubly locked and alarmed and i can't touch anything including the car cos there could be fingerprints and now i'm waiting for soco to turn up and sort it so i can get on with my insurance claim - that doesn't cover car spares

rant over :(

:bastard: Gutted for you mate, thieves and scumbags deserve the severest of punishments! :arnie::beat:

BUT whilst I sympathise and agree with the sentiment, I'm surprised that as a member of the admin team you put a couple of very thinly disguised profanities as your thread title. It does after all appear on the home page (albeit briefly)

tsk tsk :banplz: remember the kiddies and all our younger viewers

well, just had the police and SOCO round. Everything including my escort is covered in fingerprint dust, bit dissapointed it wasn't more C.S.I style but ho hum.

They've taken a list of everything thats gone and what it'll cost to replace for the insurance but no finger prints anywhere, just glove prints.

so we'll see what happens now
