Posse Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Just be watching this on the TV like one guy said you can't go into banks etc with a crash helmet on so why should this be aloud.
Admin Vista Posted July 14, 2010 Admin Report Posted July 14, 2010 Yes, absolutely. Just as crucifixes or other symbols of Christianity are banned in most of their countries so should these be here.
4parajon Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Without a shadow of a doubt they should be banned, as Scott says, whats good for the goose is good for the gander. And if they dont like it they can always go back to where they do like wearing them, I wont be offended or stand in there way.
BIG G Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 cant believe you racist biggots. but to be honest this country has bigger probs than muslim dress the attitudes of the chav shit heads who think the working likes of me should keep them in benifits i hate the bastards
Admin Mk2Jo Posted July 14, 2010 Admin Report Posted July 14, 2010 Went to Chessington 2 weeks ago and there were lots of burka wearing women there on the rides .... it was bloody funny watching them try to keep the things from flying off on the rollercoaster I don't really care if they wear them or not .. makes no difference to me
Stu_B Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 but to be honest this country has bigger probs than muslim dress the attitudes of the chav shit heads who think the working likes of me should keep them in benifits i hate the bastards Bang on mate
sambo Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 i think they are weirdly intimidating. Fooking hate them. Imagine walking down the highstreet in a mask with just your eyes showing. Its not right and fook all to do with our culture. BAN THEM
sampedlar06 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 id like to see them banned as i also find them quite intimidating as i do with any mask balaclava ect... but sadly i hold little hope of this goverment doing anything about them also as said already i think we have bigger problems to sort out 1st before we tackle this "minor problem"
FredTransit Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 cant believe you racist biggots. but to be honest this country has bigger probs than muslim dress the attitudes of the chav shit heads who think the working likes of me should keep them in benifits i hate the bastards Correct about the chavs, but the burkah isn't a race or religion issue. It's a local tradition, and not even backed by the Koran. Many Pakistanis are devout Muslims, yet the women don't feel the need to completely cover themselves. At the same time, some white English born Muslim converts feel a need to even wear gloves, as well as full face cover, they see it as a choice. Yet if it's my choice to wear a full face crash helmet in the bank I would get chucked out! We are not a Muslim country (yet!) so I don't see why making a law to ban the full face Hijab or Burkah should be an issue. If I go to Saudi Arabia, I HAVE to comply with Sharia law and cover my hair at least in a public place. If I went there I would have to accept this. Why is it so hard for Muslim women to accept that it's not the done thing to completely cover your face here?
RossMK2 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 There are millions round here and i dont trust any tbh Round here there people with pakistan flags on cars saying paki's rule on it They beat people up if they go down "there street" I know there not all the same but when people act like that people dont who to trust and for that reason they should be banned It raciscm against us when like darran says cant go into a petrol station with a helmet on but they can
Fishtailparka Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Yes they should be banned here, not as a race or religion thing but because they are damned rediculous! I saw a gang of them on the beach once, where the Hell is the sense in that? As said, they are not even a religious requirement, nowhere does it say you have to wear them.
Boreham Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 If I go to Saudi Arabia, I HAVE to comply with Sharia law and cover my hair at least in a public place. If I went there I would have to accept this. Why is it so hard for Muslim women to accept that it's not the done thing to completely cover your face here? nailed it... If I go to Saudi Arabia, I HAVE to comply with Sharia law you need to respect the way's and traditions of the country you live in or occupy.... if that dosen't suit ye ...go to a place that dose.. simple.... your not a prisioner.... Drink is also prohibited in Saudi..apart from the odd exception... that's why I've never been..
l j shaw Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 The really ugly ones should wear them.......but that should be mandatory for any
Big_man Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 BAN them, Its not part of their religion to wear them.
