i remember the late seventies. Back then custom made cars were cool like that. If you look at it now, well no thank you. 

I have seen classic VW beetles with a converted "rolls Royce" front end. And one with twin front headlights.

I would like an R10 Gordini, When I was a kid I wanted a Renault 4, with a 2" roof chop, boxed arches, and R12 Gordini running gear. Sadly life n kids got in the way. Now i'm old enough to have reached the "Can't be arsed" point in life.😁
