HotRodMatt Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 I like that. Needs the headlights and the number plate putting where it should be, but still, nice job. 1

accord83 Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 I like it, but the wheels, they don't work for me. I like the number plate location, but then I would. ⬅️ See here.
meXEco Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 Isnt that the one from Goblin garage tv show?

meXEco Posted July 19, 2019 Report Posted July 19, 2019 Yeah I agree-the motors ok but the rest of it meh. 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted July 28, 2019 Moderator Report Posted July 28, 2019 I had a slot car with the exact same colour scheme as this.
PeteRS8084 Posted July 28, 2019 Report Posted July 28, 2019 Just love the seventies custom car scene, such a poor essex boy! 1
HotRodMatt Posted July 31, 2019 Report Posted July 31, 2019 That's "Granzilla", quite highly regarded in the custom scene over here, built in the early '90s I think?

What a great name! Im not sure I like the actual car though. I like this one instead if it had nicer wheels as the ones on it are awful.

Same car, it's had a couple of different versions in its life. Named after Billy Gibbons's Cadzilla, which is a superbly built car in itself. Worth a google if you don't know of it.

I wondered if it was the same car actually but I compared the rear fins and really thought they had to be different. Maybe it just looks worse in profile. 1
jason-nike Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 Thanks to people posting the pictures. I honestly haven't stopped laughing at some of them 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted August 1, 2019 Moderator Report Posted August 1, 2019 Greetings from Australia
HotRodMatt Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 Greetings from Australia Now you know I'm going to stick up for the first Capri, but the second one I agree with you on. 1
Admin Vista Posted August 1, 2019 Author Admin Report Posted August 1, 2019 Also don't think the first one is too bad............but WT actual F is going on with those wheels in the second picture! 1
Nick Heer Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 i think like the number plate there Fat deep dish
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted August 1, 2019 Moderator Report Posted August 1, 2019 There have been some acceptable modifieds in this section I must admit as there isnt a place for the tastefully modified but I cant say I really like the first Capri either to be honest . More of the second though.

More of the second though. I follow some muscle car pages on fb and this is quite typical of the Oz street machine style cars. Blowers, injector hats and massive great big rims. Oh, and lots of them have too many doors too.
meXEco Posted August 1, 2019 Report Posted August 1, 2019 What is it with you aussies and stupidly big wheels that just don't work?

No your mistaking us for the Americans. We dont usually do the big diameter wheel thing that's just one of the few that have tried to copy the American style. We are the ones that have totally bad taste in "reasonably" size wheels that are incredibly ugly and dont suit the cars we put them on. There is a difference. 1
HotRodMatt Posted August 2, 2019 Report Posted August 2, 2019 I admire the 80s custom scene for what they tried, but what's with panelling the windows? 1
