Having such a variance of age but with the same passion for OSF, what music do you listen to...be interesting to see the gap.

Me, I'm an out and out Iron Maiden fan, but love my Level 42 (having been to another of thier tours last year), Pet Shop boys and Erasure...

It all depends on my mood ( as a truck driver ) during the day. Jungle, DNB, Ozzy, Regea, Maiden, ZZ top till real classic like Bach & Chopin or Tchaikovsky or Liszt. Mainly the last ones during the ride back to the company enjoying the last part of the day including the scenery.

Northern Soul (that's my default setting since I was 13), rockabilly, Jazz Funk, Ludovic Navarre style Nu Jazz. As I type I'm currently listening to DJ Okawari's Kaleidoscope, and last yesterday had 3 hrs. of Nujabes.

your all very lucky people, the best i can do is liten to early 80 stuff and try and fill in the gaps i cant hear from memory, as im 50-60% deaf with most tones, and been going that way since before i was 20, so anything after the 80s i cant hear enough of to appreciate, that said a lot of people tell me thats a blessing lol, trouble is, its anything that comes out of an electronic device, as i cant lip read it, so even phones are difficult, and people cant understand why i rely on text

happy listening people

ill sit with my tinitus

ARRRGGH! Country Music. My wife decided she wanted a PT Cruiser Cabrio, my views were that if she thought I was going to start wearing XXXXXXXL fleeces with wolves or Indians on them, listen to Country Music, or line dance, she better think again.

She hasn't got a PT cruiser Cabrio.

For modern stuff - Pink Floyd, White Stripes, OMD, and on the classical side Ludovico Einaudi, Erik Satie and Phillip Glass.

You can tell when you're getting older, I used to listen to Kiss FM, but now I enjoy Magic and absolute 80's... I've not yet purchased some tartan fur lined slippers though..

Primarily New Wave of British Heavy Metal.......they stopped making music after that didn't they?

Like 70's Glam Rock (is there a better Glam anthem than Blockbuster?) and 80's pop too though.

Favourite artist would be Buddy Holly and I love 1950s rockabilly and the more modern neo rockabilly bands such as The Quakes, also like a bit of punk and metal, The Exploited and Motorhead covering those genres. I think Steel Panther are hilarious and Ivor Biggun brilliantly written. Main musical passion however lies with Psychobilly, I'm a massive fan of Demented Are Go, though they are an acquired taste! Dip into The Meteors and the Frantic Flintstones from time to time but I've got loads of obscure independent european tracks which I really like. There again radio station of choice is Absolute 90s, makes me remember my teenage years! Really like The Proclaimers (don't scoff Lol), excellent songwriters, just a shame they released the wrong songs!

Really don't like this hip hop and wussy lovey dovey RnB stuff, and don't get me started on C*ldpl*y!!

Would be interesting to see ages of people with their tastes. I'm 24 and I'll listen to most things, anything from Fleetwood Mac to iron maiden to Johnny Cash to Nicky Minaj. Real passion would be pop/punk from late 90s to early 00's, bands such as Blink 182, New found Glory, Sum 41, alkaline trio, Motion City Soundtrack etc
