stephens_xpack Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Also def out, but not 100% sure why, which in itself is a bit worrying.....
Admin Vista Posted June 21, 2016 Author Admin Report Posted June 21, 2016 Also def out, but not 100% sure why, which in itself is a bit worrying..... For sure it's a complex issue, made worse by the fact that both the for and against camps will only tell you what they want you to hear......and much of that may be grossly exaggerated. The cynic in me thinks that the big businesses all coming down on the side of remain, are doing so because it's in their financial interest not to upset the Status Quo, i.e. "Why take any risks? Profits are fat and healthy as it is thank you!". Then factor in that many of them are foreign owned, is their voice really likely to have the interests of the common British man (person) as its primary interest?
The Transplanter Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Forgetting everything else, you are voting leave for democracy!

Then factor in that many of them are foreign owned, is their voice really likely to have the interests of the common British man (person) as its primary interest? Its not you being a cynic its exactly what they are doing. A number of American companies have donated hundreds of thousands of pounds to the remain budget to influence the vote. Ford has sent letters to 15000 employees that their jobs are at risk if they dont vote the way the company wants them too. If any nation tried to manipulate a vote in America like the Americans are doing there they would probably go to war. This is about big profits going to other nations and the extravagant cash cow that the UK is for Brussels. They dont want the flow to stop going in only one direction. I believe you guys pay 35 million pounds a day just in administration fees to the EU offices in Belgium. An alcoholic man dies of liver failure and the proprietor of his local is found in tears, "oh was he your best friend" the other patrons asked? "No" he said, "he was my best customer." 3
Admin Vista Posted June 21, 2016 Author Admin Report Posted June 21, 2016 I know, I was trying to look at it with an open mind. Saw this on Twitter from outspoken potty mouth Lilly Allen this afternoon, amusing that she had no answer but blocking for someone who had a legitimate put down for her misguided agenda!
ianbavs Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Vote out if u wanna save NHS SCHOOLS N JOBS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
accord83 Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 "Ford has sent letters to 15000 employees that their jobs are at risk if they dont vote the way the company wants them too" That would be the Ford Motor Company who shut the Southampton Transit plant in 2013 to build Europe's Transits in Turkey then. Mmm I think they might not actually have their employees best interests at heart sometimes, (but I might be wrong....) On 26 October 2012 Ford announced that, as part of a larger cutback of their European production capacity, the Southampton factory would close altogether in July 2013, with production for Europe of all the new Transit models shifted to Turkey.[5] The last Transit went into production on 15 July 2013 and was completed on 26 July. Workers who had not either accepted redundancy or early retirement, were redeployed to either:[2] A new £12M distribution centre at Southampton Docks A new vehicle refurbishment plant at the existing site, employing 134 staff Ford's other UK factories manufacturing engines, at Bridgend or Dagenham 1

But that's not the end of it, the EU gave FORD £80 million towards relocating to Turkey! A country that is "apparently" not joining the EU The whole EU smells and they wont be happy until the UK is on its knees
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted June 21, 2016 Moderator Report Posted June 21, 2016 The moving of some Ford operations to Turkey is quite telling. Cameron has been facilitating the entry of Turkey to the EU. He claimed this week that wasnt true but forgot to tell the British Embassy in Turkey to take down reference on their website to hundreds of thousands of pounds his government has invested in research programs on smoothing out Turkeys entry. Basically he is bold faced lying to you guys there. The reason he doesnt want you do know is that the flood of refugees so far is insignificant compared to what would come after Turkeys entry. All those millions of refugees that havent yet come would officially be instantly granted access to the EU and as such the UK. (Free health care is very appealing to them especially a great place to have babies and instant British citizens). Add to that that the current Turkish government is a fascist regime, totally clamping down on all flow of information and protest. A kid was arrested for saying the president looked like Gollum. (When in actual fact he does). So not only the Syrian refugees will flood over, you will get a sizable part of the Turkish population doing it also. Given Turkey cannot protect its boarders there is an open gate to the EU that can never be closed. The UK cant cope with the financial burdens of all that and the EU will collapse under its own weight. I can understand why the Americans want that to happen so they can buy everything in a fire sale and control business throughout Europe but why would your own government and Cameron personally want to facilitate that? I tried to find an answer but cant.
stephens_xpack Posted June 22, 2016 Report Posted June 22, 2016 If nothing else, you are right about Cameron being a spreader of porkies, don't trust a single word that leaves his cake hole. And unfortunately, for me, that is all I need to vote against him a lone, which is a massive shame as I would prefer to vote on a good solid base of knowledge and to a point, fact. I think a big chunk of the leave voters will be doing so for similar reasons, voting leave purely because he say's we shouldn't. We were a proud and strong country, why he thinks for one minute that as a nation of people we would all run scared based on his Eaton yellow bellied scare mongering is beyond me, he doesn't live in our world. If he had half a brain, his best bet would have been reverse psychology. If he had told me to vote leave, I would be voting remain, just to go against the lemon. Probably all rigged anyway no matter how we all vote. 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted June 22, 2016 Moderator Report Posted June 22, 2016 Probably all rigged anyway no matter how we all vote. As an outsider I actually had that same strange feeling. With all of Europe and the USA worried their cash cow was going to bale and Cameron prepared to do anything to appease both I suddenly thought the whole Brexit thing was all just a huge show to make the people of the UK feel the illusion they are controlling their own destiny. At least you're one up on an Australian government, if a foreign nation like China and the USA decided they wanted the place if they produced the readies they would be signing on the dotted line and then tell us that it was good for jobs and productivity that we had all just been sold to a foreign power. But when you think that there are no further lame ideas the Remain camp wont stoop too take a look at this link. They are saying if you leave then shows like Game of Thrones wouldnt be filmed. Now I have heard it all! http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/brexit-would-put-game-of-thrones-under-threat/ar-AAhsW0F?li=AAgfLCP&ocid=mailsignout
