Very hard on his family & friend's, never a nice time to lose a loved one at any time, but Christmas eve, bloody hell, a major holiday for most people, and now a permanent reminder for all his clan left behind.

 

Hope Carrie comes through ok, again, brought up on her.

 

Yes, we all celebrate, but for some people, we don't know what pain they are going through.

Well, now George Michael has gone....2016, proper shit year.

Very bad year all through, as my old Dad used to say to me, "Don't put off until tomorrow, something you want to do today, there are only so many tomorrow's", I am 55 George Michael was 53, I suppose a light that burns twice as bright, only burns for half as long.

 

Hopefully this will be the end of all the sad stuff.

On the other hand, do I really care about a select few pampered celebrities that I didn't know in person? Remember that many of whom have at least partly contributed to their own early demise through misuse of alcohol and/or drugs.

 

Actually when comparing to in excess of 400'000 dead so far in Syria, many of whom were women and children, I don't think I really give a hoot about a few dozen fallen pop idols.
