Carellos are a nice factory item with the Ford symbol embossed in the glass. They have a slimmer form factor which I prefer over the bugeyed front heavy looking cibie type.

If you buy new and save they increase in value faster than Bitcoin

There is a guy in Newcastle that hand makes covers for them that look really good too.

I am a fan of Carellos. If you want a lights that actually work as proper driving lights then thats another matter entirely. All show and no go as they say. You achieve better results putting a better bulb in your high beam headlights. Leave the Carellos for display.

ive always had super oscars with 130w bulbs. work better than any lamp ive ever seen and you can dazzle them twats that drive around in the rain with there fog lamps on!

most people collect star wars or dr who crap! as you will see col, my collection of mk2 parts aint as clean as RPs.

Personally I would steer clear of the standard Harrier colours, if you use them you will get constant questions along the lines of "is it a real one" or hear people muttering about it being a replica.

 Why not put a new / your own spin on it and use the Harrier style graphics but in a new colour and on a colour car that wasn't used for the Harrier?

Funny you should say that, family members keep saying the same thing every other week although less polite than you put it. I believe "This is supposed to be a home not a parts dealership" is the phrase most vented angrily. I swear its just things you collect over 30 years on the off chance you need it later.

Hey I still have my Dr Who stuff including my Tom Baker Dr Who hat and scarf. I collect many things really not just car parts. Even bigger money pits than cars. Rare antique cameras, ancient pottery vessels and fossils. The trick is to have several lines going at once so when you get bitched at for wasting so much money on one you simply appear to agree and move on to the next one. Going from Cars to Bikes doesnt really register as different in their minds Col.

TBH if even Ray can have his car questioned I don't think I have much chance with a Heinz 57 car made up of the parts/ style I like from the different models. Do you ?  For some reason I don't know why I'm not known as a purist ? As always we say on here it's your car, if you like it, do it. i think the later mexicos came with carello headlights, my 76 came with cibie headlights although i think may have come from a mk1.

do the harrier rep! got to love a stratos harrier, and as they only made 500 or so and were essentially a 16 sport with reccys and bronze glass. theres not enough harriers about!
