Well it’s still a Capri isn’t it! Just branded differently

just like a fiesta and a Mazda 121

It was all in the original question! LOL But it had you frustrated for a few mins at least wondering what the catch was!

I'm going for Guyana even though it looks a bit wet, as a lot of the Ford production lines were shipped to South America when the model production stopped in the UK. These are also right hand drive cars.

Very interesting guess! I wont declare yet to give others a chance to take a look.

I reckon it's New Zealand. Green, wet, number plate format and windows in the escort panel van sides

I’m going with NZ also, similar weather and country side to Scotland

Why not Australia in a wet state like Tasmania? Though what would exclude Aus from the list?

I've been to Tasmania and don't remember it being that green.

It is in places but there is something else other than the mouldy cars that rules out Australia? (Tip - Picture 3)

White Sierra long roof in pic 4 (there's a Sierra in pic 2 too). Sierra was not sold in Australia.

Those are really good spots! The hint in Pic 3 was a bit more obvious than that so you didn't need to look so close.

Its the Estate! So yes you were correct the pile is in New Zealand. (Your too well travelled Scott, so no one else has a chance!) While you would think given how close New Zealand and Australia are and there being several Ford Plants in Australia that they would share production similarities. Instead New Zealand assembled their own but rather than follow Australias model line up they chose to replicate the British line instead even sharing their sales brochures at times. Australia embraced the van but never assembled the Estate which New Zealand did as it was part of the British line.
