BaileyMex Posted March 12, 2021 Report Posted March 12, 2021 (edited) Well after 17 years of owning my Mex, from restoring it, tweaking it and traveling thousands of miles to shows and events to now, where it hasn't come out of secure storage for nearly 3 years, I might just have found that itch that needs scratching..... So, over the next month or so, and when I can find time to get up to there, I'll once again be having a tinker. Thankfully no huge jobs, just small ones that'll get me that buzz back of hearing open weber's barking and coming home deaf and stinking of petrol 😈 Can you lovely bunch give me some extra motivation by flooding this post with pics of your cars? CHEERS!! Edited March 12, 2021 by BaileyMex 2

Background is........ I dropped the phone, it went blank, and now when I plug it in , and try to turn it on, the charge symbol lights up but it won't go any further, won't start up its android screen. That's all it does. Phone is a Nexus 5 LG I've got my whole car build on it plus about 1200 other pictures. And yes I didn't back it up.🙄
chinkamon Posted March 12, 2021 Report Posted March 12, 2021 Not knowing the phone well u have a few options.... Firstly sorry baileymex for filling up Ur thread🙈😂 Basically the phone is a small computer. If the back comes off, check for a memory card in it, if so bingo they're all on that, if not.... If u have a laptop/ pc, plug it in, leave it about 5 mins and see if anythin pops up on the computer screen i.e. suggest what to do with this device, failing that click into the files folder where it shows every file / drives etc and all being well it will show removable device/ phone, double click an u can access the phone memory that way. ( Might take a bit of looking around in different files) If that won't work, if u can't remove the battery an refit it, then be brave, and take the phone apart, likelyhood is when u dropped it the battery has dislodged or a ribbon cable has dislodged poke around and wriggle connections lightly, try the above pc connection again and u SHUD b able to gain access to it 🤞🤞

theloudboy Posted March 13, 2021 Report Posted March 13, 2021 Your car was the the round ones when you put it back on the road, the fact they painted the strip on and the fit and finish was top quality
