That's pretty innovative. Why would Type 9s suffer this issue where Types Es do not?

Nige65
I have just had the same problem albeit with a Type 2, I changed the nylon saddle that fits over the selector shaft and that cured mine 👍

Speaking from experience ... https://www.burtonpower.com/quickshift-gear-lever-quiet-4-speed-rocket-qs24.html Interesting mine doesn't seem to vibrate. It has an all metal spherical bearing in its stick. Im trying to think of the maker but it was a limited one with a blue anodized base. ( I do use the original plastic saddle though) I wonder if those Quaife ones give a better feel?
