Xp197777 Posted September 30, 2023 Report Posted September 30, 2023 Is there anything that can be done with a vibration rattle in the gearstick when driving very annoying
BaileyMex Posted September 30, 2023 Report Posted September 30, 2023 Quick shift in a type 9 by any chance?

That's pretty innovative. Why would Type 9s suffer this issue where Types Es do not?

Nige65 Posted September 30, 2023 Report Posted September 30, 2023 I have just had the same problem albeit with a Type 2, I changed the nylon saddle that fits over the selector shaft and that cured mine 👍

It has an all metal spherical bearing in its stick. Im trying to think of the maker but it was a limited one with a blue anodized base. ( I do use the original plastic saddle though) I wonder if those Quaife ones give a better feel?
