That said after 38 and 32 years of ownership respectively I dare say I have actually spend that amount. Yeah a friend of mine once so helpfully said “You know for what you have spent on Old Ford’s you could have a nice new car.. Or even a decent Aston Martin “ (frankly I doubt the Aston part). Funnily enough I don’t speak to him now. It’s at a stage now like you I don’t keep a count of what’s spent. That doesn't make sense to me. How is someone who can afford more, less of a "real and genuine enthusiast"? However, this car is insanely priced which is different. No one's buying that.
