Ever since that Mk1 RS2000 hit that price every man and dog thinks they can pluck a price out of thin air! I even heard it said at the show I was at last Saturday night, when asked what an Escort was worth they said im not sure now but definitely more now that an RS2000 in the UK fetched a quarter of a mill equivalent in the UK. Its insane.

you should see the size of the shovel! I'm all for sleepers, or carrying tools or shopping. But cages, race interiors, not this one but the ones with forest arches. Nah. Nice looking road cars, comfy recaros and a 3 spoke steering wheel. perfect!

It makes me sad, the prices of these now, prohibiting real genuine enthusiasts from owning one. Not people who buy them shove them in a garage and wait for them to be worth 100k it’s prohibited genuine enthusiasts from acquiring one. I thought all these “new shells” would have taken the prices down a bit but quite the opposite it appears. 

occasionally you can bag a bargain but it’s usually a headache as I’ve found out.
