Do you usually Change your Bearings when you change front Discs?

Currently getting all the bit an pieces together to change the front discs and pads and a seal kit for the calipers. Do you guys change the hub bearings at the same time or just leave it if the are fine?

Leave them if they are fine. And if you do change them use a good quality item, no cheap Chinese crap.

Check for play and noise with wheel on. No harm in regreasing them. Make sure you don't overtighten them.

I changed mine recently due to the seals being a bit knackered, grease was splattered where it wasn’t welcome!

Spin up the hub , check for noise, clean, inspect , re pack with grease.

That was sort of at the heart of my question. There is no noise or play or anything but I know the SKF ones in it are not Chinese but if were to replace them now even by them again they would be from China as they have stepped up manufacturing in China since then. So do you change for maintenance sake but most likely they will be Chinese or leave the ones that are in it If memory serves the ones in it were made in Japan.

Cause Im having old age brain fade and cant remember when I last did it! Im more often finding myself saying you should have done that before when you had the chance!

I do that as some insurance companies want to see it. If you put costs on it as well you will be surprised 😊

Ahhh I didnt know Insurance companies like that sort of info. Once of the reasons why I stopped adding up receipts was when I did I scared myself so I thought what I didn't know didnt hurt!
