Vista Estate Posted March 5, 2024 Report Posted March 5, 2024 With the budget looming tomorrow I wonder if the Chancellor is going to cut the Ford Tax. From recent viewing of an online sales platform it seems to be out of control. Take a look at this hike in price around 9000%. Wow! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176270474622?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Y6NMaTamQBe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=fL3r6R_IQiO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I've got a box of rusty bolts from an old Ford. They will clean up well. Anybody want them for £200 🤔 2
Miniliteman Posted March 5, 2024 Report Posted March 5, 2024 According to the seller this is "very rear" 😕

mk2esccy Posted March 5, 2024 Report Posted March 5, 2024 I hate reading ebay listings where folk write sort after instead of sought after..or I brought this car instead of I bought this car....its like some duffer made a mistake then along comes even more duffers that think this is what they are supposed to write so just keep copying it on. 1

Miniliteman Posted March 5, 2024 Report Posted March 5, 2024 Anyone can ask what they want for a part, if he/she sells it is another matter. In this case you can make an offer. Maybe someone should bid 1p .... 1

Perhaps this is something specific for Mexico 😂 1

Vista Estate Posted March 6, 2024 Author Report Posted March 6, 2024 You're not the only one James. Ford owners the world over 😂 Speaking of loose screws how are the alternator builds coming along?

Quite well actually, I thought the Chrome one was a bit shiny but the regular one also doesn't have that polished alloy look like the manifold so i have the two metal ends apart and going to have them ceramic coated with the inlet manifold to make it all new looking but not so much as shiny chrome so it all looks new rather than street machine showy. Interestingly is that the Turkish Made Lukas one that I put in to tide me over hasn't skipped a beat so its definitely these Chinese ones that are an issue. Ive cut back on shows and stuff till I can get a few trim and paint things done so its not getting a big workout but it hasn't given any problems either with no alternator lights showing up.

I can't see any FoMo markings on the screws but @Ray is the expert on FoMo stuff.
