  1. Dan Matthews? Spooky, I know somebody of that name, but they live in Ascot area
  2. Unbelieveable, I saw this only last week in Mychett whilst i was in my Alfa I gave a massive thumbs up to the then owner sounded lovely & was hoping the OSF count in Camberley/Farnborough/Aldershot area would be bigger. Just don't see enough round here!
  3. Welcome, and yes get an OSF. Mk1 Fiesta is a nice little car to start with!
  4. Who's going to be the first to get it converted into RWD & put it in an OSF?
  5. Wasn't bad a show, purple Mk2 'Tina was lovely
  6. Got it delivered today, looks really good. Should be an improvement!
  7. True Gary, if you had to sell the 100E, would the new owner remove the ghosted flames from the bonnet (if it was me I wouldn't, I love it!)
  8. Cheers for the heads up, must go see the man at some point, my P100 project is way overdue!
  9. Cheers for the advice, ordered one just now. Decided to go down the route of replacing parts with blingy bits whilst the head is being rebuilt. Engine bay will look at least more respectable (SmokeEms comment on my engine bay in my main thread about the engine bay needing detailing helped me to decide )
  10. He's still got it as far as I know. I bought his old orange P100 back in '05, crashed it a year later
  11. Is that one of the Ooh Ooh Motorsport cars? I recognise the Transit tow truck as Rob Griggs
  12. It's very odd not what I'd do but if it starts, stops, drives well & keeps up burnouts then it's all good
  13. Is it any good? I'm sure it is but is it as strong as an original Ford part? And is it recommended to buy new silicone hoses or stick with standard rubber hoses?
  14. Barryboys regular here, laughing at some of the horrendous cars. A few Capris have appeared there recently
  15. Cruise control, automatic wipers or any stupid lazy arse "driver aids"
  16. Very nice job, & massive respect for doing that for your friend. It's good deeds like this that do people the world of good, and I hope this perks him up enough to get better sooner.
  17. RIP, the man sounds like he was well respected. Condolences to the family.
  18. Good pics dude, missed this one (first one I think I missed since I got my Capri!) looks like there were a couple of motors I'd not seen before.Won't miss the next one I hope!
  19. For all you Capri nuts out there, some of you will be aware of this annual meet up down at the Ace. Organised by Kevin Blow, who has now stepped down, and myself & my co-chairman Calvin has taken over the organisation as part of the Surrey Capri Clubs events. You can just turn up & have a look around, but if you want to get into the Ace car park with all the other Capris, please register or log on onto our clubs local forum www.fordcaprimania3000.com Pre booking begins 10am Saturday 27th April. Any questions are on our forum or I am contactable by email or phone. Details through our website www.surreycapriclub.co.uk
  20. Amazing to think that the "weekly inkies" back in those days meant you would be tripping up over Mk1s & mk2s. RS2000 with excellent body but interior needing tidying for £1350? I'd take that.
  21. Winter, daily driver, yep I know, hopefully it'll look a lot better come Wheels Day
  22. Love the new layout & forum. Keep up the good work!
