Twinkle Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 my favourite car of the show was our very own terracota terror, you guessed it the antz mobile why? some may ask, well, to me it shows what hard work, dogged determination and also how someone that 6 months ago had no mechanical knowledge can work their socks off up a steep learning curve, and keep going despite the problems he has had with "professionals"and on a budget to produce such a clean, tidy and usable car that holds its head up with the best of them nice one antz you should be proud m8
louie bagel Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 The grey 100e with the zetec on the OSF stand, that broke a half shaft! (sorry Im not sure who the owner is but very nice car!!) that would be petrolhead

V8ian Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 This was probably mine that is a stonking motor Might be a pretty car but it still has the top mounts mounted on the wrong side of the wings and upside down so the whole weight of the car is being supported by 3 8mm bolts secured by Non Rated acorn nuts. It appears to be an accident waiting to happen
Wessie Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 i had a few favourites retro als mk1 rich savs mk1 darrans old mex NTS autos mk2 escort mick rogers tina
MightySprocket Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 all the cars were brilliant... I agree with twink, Antz was without a doubt the best 4 door there but Rich Savs is the dogs (good to meet you Rich). The guy had it on the meguires stand when I saw it, next minute its tearing up the strip and back on the meguire stand for a wipe down for judging... awesome It was also good to see that OSF had the biggest display of cars, well done all
