X-pack-Glyn Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 im a hardened ford nut and hate chevrolet but i have to say, give me the 68 camero everytime!
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 12, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 12, 2006 Ooooooh, hmm, both are lovely models .... but I would have to go for the Mustang I think 1968 Camaro 1965 Mustang
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Oh, that question is right up there with 'Sex with Kylie Minogue or a threesome with a pair of average looking twins'. Much as I love the mustang, I think I'd go for the camero.
Admin Vista Posted October 12, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 12, 2006 Neither I'm afraid it'd have to be a 69 Dodge Charger for me (and no I wouldn't want a general lee replica) Why well simple really The Mustang and the Camaro both grew old badly and there have been dire incarnations of both cars through the 80's The Charger went out at its peak Better to burn out than to fade away
Messenjah Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 the twins everytime !! oops i mean the mustang
antz Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 thats a hard choice! the thing with the camaro is it was gorgeous then got old and crap. the mustang was john travlota in grase! everyone fancied him! but then it grew old and ugly and no1 cared...BUT..then be some form of miracle its transformed back into the 60's icon it once was! just a bit more modern. but john travolta is still ugly and old it would have to be the mustang for me. i knew what a mustang was before i knew any other car names because my dad is a die hard mustang lover so it sorta fits but the old camaros and dodge charger are so nice!....cant forget a hemi challenger!....(vanishing point...WHAT A FILM!..the original and the re-make!)
RFChris Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Camro every time. EVERY GOD DAMN TIME! Cant beat a bit of mopar power! Chris

Dom Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I'm afraid it's the camaro no matter how much I love mustang. However...............If you were talking about a the camaro and say I dunno a 67 Shelby? That is a different matter

Burns Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 would have to be the stang, just like the way they sit. like they're waiting to kill you
105Nick Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Vista m8, errrm thats a bit untrue, the last great Charger was made in 1970 ala the one in the fast & the furious, but Chrysler kept the Charger model until 1978. The 73-75 cars were bloody ugly, had a short back and a huge front that looked better suuited to an ant-eater, and then in 1975-78 the Charger was a re-badged Chrysler Corboda, a big, square, fat, ugly old mammoth thing lookin like a Chevy Monte Carlo/Lincoln Town Car with a wheezy 190hp 400 - and it was a damn site uglier than any 80s mustang I can tell you. For me, well, I'm a yank car fanatic, I grewup with my bro taking me to watch his mate running a 65 Stang against Camaro's, Falcons, Galaxies etc, so for me anything pretty much gets my attention, though I'm only a fan of small block mustangs ala the 65-66 GT350, thats it concerning Mustangs for me, it was the best shape and could match any of the later GT500s for speed as it was so light, and did something the GT500 struggled at - go round corners, while having the best shape ever. I would really love to own a Hertz car though, the black shelby with gold stripes, or white with gold. The Camaros well, they never really lost it, all through th ages - yeah the 78s aren't quite as classic but Smokey & the Bandit proved they were still pretty awesome and cool cars, tough the 67-68 cars were the best looking, with the hidden lamps, and you could have a car built to your own spec, ordering RS package and the SS package on one car, hardly any two were the same! They look a damn site more agressive too, and a lot less fragile. #If I'm honest, it'd have to be the Mustang really but I wouldnt complain, my bro in law has a 78 that hasnt been touched for ten years, but I dont need any more projects yet. I'd also love a 57-58 Plymouth Fury, as per Christine, but the anglebox has fins good as any for now..,.
Hilux Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Camro every time. EVERY GOD DAMN TIME! Cant beat a bit of mopar power! Chris wont find much mopar power under the hood of a camaro chris mopar was the parts brand for chrysler/dodge, chevrolet is pure general motors mate
