picked this up last night..

 

it is (was) a 1970, 3000gt xlr.

been stood since 91,

and totally rotted out....

 

had a rebuilt engine (not sure to what spec) but has piper dizzy, 40 dfav carb, before it was stood up.

a few good bits left to salvage, but deffo no panels.

 

front end started to seperate from the rear as it was being winched up..

I would be willing to bet money that car has been sat on someone's driveway for decades, and every time an enthusiast knocks on their door they say "Sorry not for sale, I'm going to start a resto on it next month."

needs more than t-cut :lol: some blue-tack and superglue and just like bluepeter heres the one i did early :lol: flash is looking for crome bits of boot if any good, :thumbsup: sell what u can mate :thumbsup:

it was free but had to nip across to isle of wight for it. body totally shot, but worth picking up for engine / box / axle and other good bits / spares with it.
