escamino Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 what da ya reckon would white suit the red car . I'd choose 1 if they were red, otherwise 2.
xpackken Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 think it might be to much then ive seen white rims on red cars and it seemed quite effective . anyone got pics of one . _________________ Mercedes Benz C292
Copey Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 i like white alloys on red cars, looks really good!!
jimbo Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 No1 deffo!! But I would be tempted to paint the inside silver. At least if you buy them white, you can always change the colour at a later date. No-one ever goes for wire-wheels anymore.....
Arched Escy Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 id have the whole wheel white....not just white centres..as for pics
Copey Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 you know that looks good Ken!! go for the white rims!! another good thing is, how may capris are you gonna see with them on?? make ur car a true one of a kind!!
ratman Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Go for number 1 keep them white Every man & his dog has got minilight/superlight or lookalike
boXXer Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 deffo number 2. Number 1 looks WAY to american for a capri IMO. Or was the capri originally american?
S1RST Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 definitely No1 (although i'm a bit p#ssed off as i wanted to do them first!) a mate has an alfa, red with white wheels. looks fantastic, but a pain to keep clean. i reckon i'd be going for a grey centre/polished rim should look fantastic whichever way you go!
bmxdave Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 No 1 in white or gunmetal grey. And you want some 17x10's out back if they fit with 17x7's up front. And you need some massive lip. If its getting the x pack kit you can got mad with the offset and have a massive lip on them.

borneo Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Out of these I'd say number one but I think the four spoke RS replicas that Image Wheels do would look the mutts on this car and you could get em in 15 x8s or even 10s!!!
Copey Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 i think 17's would look too big in rim style 1, think 15's would looke 100 times better
hotrodholty Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 set 1 deffo. my dads just bought a set of 7 x 15 ARE torque thrusts for his 68 mustang and they look the nuts, 17s might look a bit big on a capper though. what about black olr gunmetal grey centres. whens the next wirral meet, you havin one this weekend? oultan park / gold cup is on this weekend anyone goin?
