Its truly tragic and my condolences go out to his family. He was one of those drivers that never failed to entertain, believing that to find the limits you had exceed them just once - I recall his ASCAR outing, brushing the wall then climbing out and declaring he just had to, to find out what it was like!

Truly sad news, and just read that his six year old son was with him too.

 

 

He was a genuine class act and a great British(Scottish!) sportsman. I just hope he gets the recognition he deserves from the media though I fear he will get a few brief lines whilst some half wit footballers broken toe will get a double page spread.

 

A very sad day indeed.
