In your case it looks like he's not touched it so shouldn't be too bad a thing to do ? Was the buy now cheaper then you sold it for ? If so or even the same money you can look at it like he was just looking after it for you

2litreScapri Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 The guy that sold me my Capri asked me to keep in contact with him, he was originally reluctant to sell but house move forced him to as he needed the money. I explained to him I was looking for a daily driver & I wasn't sure how long I'd keep it, so he asked first refusal if I was to sell it. He also asked me to keep it as original as possible. I am keeping in contact with him (I don't think he's on any of the forums though) but I am keeping the car, & I'm not keeping it original, although if he wants to buy it back I will keep all the original parts, just in case. Would I buy a car back? Depends on the memories, unfortunately all my cars I've ever owned have been written off or run down to the ground, so I don't know!
bigglesmk2 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Report Posted February 5, 2010 I dunno guys im stuggling to get funds together I emailed the guy and he says there is no reserve either, first bid buy's it He also said that he's not sure if the strut tops have ever seen a welder,i know otherwise -they are fooked, along with the sills and arhes and wings
