Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted October 30, 2020 Moderator Report Posted October 30, 2020 Escort Ute. Its 50 quid for a regular sized badge, what would this one set you back?
PeteRS8084 Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 That scort ute was for sale near me about 18 months ago, I do sort of like it, but the badge would have to go.........what's not to like about a v6 escort! 1

So you have seen it in the flesh? Its it actually a badge or a paint on? It looks so 3 dimensional I couldn't tell from the images.
PeteRS8084 Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 No I did not view it, think it's painted on!
Admin Vista Posted November 7, 2020 Author Admin Report Posted November 7, 2020 Snow plough optional!
HotRodMatt Posted November 7, 2020 Report Posted November 7, 2020 There's enough style in that car already, no need for anything else.

Admin Vista Posted December 4, 2020 Author Admin Report Posted December 4, 2020 There seems to be a bit missing!
katana Posted December 4, 2020 Report Posted December 4, 2020 Attitude comes from Altitude - slam it a bit and lose the silly sump guard and I think it'd look ok! Don't think i'd like to be in it, if it rolled, but there again not sure i'd like to be in ANY thing that was upside down LOL!
Daniel13 Posted December 4, 2020 Report Posted December 4, 2020 I've seen convertible mk1's before and always thought they look hideous. Somehow that one seems to pull it off way better than any of the others I've seen, to a point where I almost quite like it. My biggest problem with it is that I just don't a convertible anything. I had a test drive in a convertible a few years back, lovely sunny warm evening, but the only I could focus on for the entire journey was how friggin cold the top of my head was.
accord83 Posted December 4, 2020 Report Posted December 4, 2020 Hit it with the lowering stick and I'd have it, but usually convertibles like that have a roof that looks like a badly fit tarp. I've sold my Mk1 Golf Cabriolet because SWMBO doesn't like her hair messed up. It didn't affect me as I'm a pork pie wearing slaphead, but the wingeing wore me down. 1 1
