Ford versus Vauxhall

Just when we thought Fords were on the up again, here we have a Vauxhall Shuvit for £60k.

Ford or Vauxhall?

I'm a Ford fan firstly but I still appreciate other car makers, there are still interesting sporting and basic models from the likes of Vauxhall, Fiat, Renault, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, etc that really interest me and I enjoy reminiscing with the owners at car shows 👍

Big money that, I’ve always liked them. 
 

Ford always for me however, Vauxhall have made some cracking cars, MK1 and 2 GTE, Cavalier SRi, Carlton, etc… The Vauxhall performance engines have always had some poke in my opinion.

Weren’t they all🤣 especially the Fiats. I had a 1980 131 Mirafiori Sport in Orange, came with a free dust pan and brush.

Does look nice. These days, I do tend to like most old classic/retro cars, and I love spotting something old and unusual on my travels, normally a mile or so away on the motorway and speed up to cop a look as I drive my - within the speed limit of course officer

It's neck and neck for me, I'd have either makes, (or Opal) except a Manta B, my coupe was knuckle bitingly pretty but handled like a hammered camel. Whilst an Escort might look a bit like a plain lass, but she she scrubs up well and likes a good spanking on the back roads.
