  1. the local show that i loved is no more, so mine will be transportered to 2 shows this year, the AVO national day on 7th July, and the NEC in November if the clubs get offered a stand that is so, will get their annual mileage driven in anger, on and off the transporter, mustnt overwork them lol
  2. are they in over all very good condition Mark @Vista Estate
  3. that appeared on my watts app earlier in the week lol, didnt think to post it here tbh
  4. if old skool ford has any 1300E members that i dont know about, pls pm me, as we are tring to make the AVO national day, the biggest 1300E attendance ever, but please, if you also own an AVO car, the AVO national day is a very good one to attend, so put it in your diaries, calendars whatever, but book holidays around is and make that journey, i know for some its a hell of a journey, but you can arrive the day before and camp with your car, well worth the trip, theres also space for visiting clubs to have a stand and space for non AVO cars not within a club stand as well
  5. didnt think it would, this forum dosnt like my pc
  6. .0 or just look at the resto here 1300E resto number 2 - PROJECTS AND RESTORATIONS - Old Skool Ford if the link works
  7. ill take a picture of mine when im back up the unit later, in the mean time ill have a look on my past resto thread
  8. the riser on the side stops the rear of the seat sliding skew, maintaing the seat release clip to be correctly located against the tunnel
  9. all 4 screw to the floor, my car that has them, dosnt have anything over the tunnel runner the seat naturally has a loose side to it so to speak, where you can lift it a bit before the seat clip catches on the tunnel runner the result is seat movement when your driving, thats the way they are
  10. if theyre what i thinking your asking for, firstly youd need to know side, as one on each side is handed, but they generally come as a set of 4, for both front seats, and stage 1 motorsport do the set new
  11. theyre bears that are good at sports
  12. try this guy, he used to be on e-bay, but like most sellers with and decency, i tink e-bay have forced them off with their stupid systems he often came up with NOS ones, and is usually sensibly priced Jack Payne, e-mail address is treasuredparts@hotmail.com
  13. the heater works from a switched earth, and a constant poitive, the switch has 3 colour coded brown wires,, the centre wire feeds the motor, pre 10/73 cars have a loom wire poke out where later cars have the cigarette lighter, this needs a link wire to earth if there no cigaretter lighter to link it to, that then feeds the switch for the fast side of the twin speed fan, later looms the main earth is taken from the loom itself rather than a link wire, then theres a wire that feeds the other side of the switch for the slow speed fan, this comes out as a 90 degree angled spade terminal connected to a resistor on the steering support plate. from the loom near the heater, there is a double bullet socket that connects the loom to the heater motor wire, the heater wire then connects to the fan with two spade terminals, if you have power at both when the switch is operated, and neither have fallen off/apart, at that point then suspect the motor is at fault, good few years since ive seen you on here Herr Doktor
  14. its original to an early 1300E, and possibly others, probably pre March 73 build, my car had it but it was broken, so i replaced it with the other type, that picture is from another early 1300E that still has it, but ive never seen another to replace it with, but it is correct, been trying to find another ever since, just dont seem to be available, but it does allow you to change the pulley belt without disturbing the water pump bolt, seems to be the holy grail
  15. Hi, long shot, im after an alternator bracket for a crossflow, as in the picture, its a wierd looking one, and if you look carefully , it has a long arm up to the water pump, and also mounts in the usual 2 bolt holes on the block, heres hoping someone might have one they want to part with

    NEC

well, i would like to thank all those that supported us at the NEC this year, we have now had it officially that we sold 10 tickets using the discount code in the end, this is exactly half of the previous year i am also pleased to say, that within the same e-mail, we have had the invite to re apply for the 2024 show, which Kellye will do, whilst this dosnt guarantee us a place, its a dam good start, but we wont know until around May time if we have a stand offer im hoping that should we get that offer, people are better placed financially to support us in 2024, and all i can say is that you missed a dam good event this year, in fact probably the best one since ive been involved over the last 7 years, and you cant beat a bit of popeye bashing lol
