Weller, the were meant to be 6j but arrived 6.25jπ -
After some time off the road there has been a resurrection of the Green Meanie with a new motor. I've had a problem locally trying to get an MOT, the testers actually talk fluent the round ones, they say they can't test my car as it won't pass modern emissions test so they can start the MOT. The answer was a road safety check, in which they give me a written report. It's an MOT without the emissions test for the same price, but I've had it done to save my breath arguing with them, and it's proof to my insurers, hopefully never required, I'm trying to do the right thing. I also like a fresh set of eyes giving the old girl a look over.

Back in the day, way back, Ford sent out a handful of 2.8i V6's to the Police for evaluation, we didn't get one as we were a piss poor ragtag county, but I met an acquaintance from another force on a course. He told me he had just had his Police licence suspended the week before, attending an early hours alarm in the rain he parked one backwards next to the sweet counter in Woolworths. They were not a success.

You need a starting handleπ³

This is how I think about my Escort, but, on a twisty back road at night it changes sex to become a dirty dance partner. It is therefore a hermaphrodite. The Alvis is definitely female as I imagine it being driven by a cad, like Leslie Phillips.

That's messing with my head! -
Should have had a couple of pairs of Mole Grips in the glovebox.π

Ah Bless! You Gen Z gender neutral youngsters.π€£ππ€£

Should've bought a Monaro and worked on it in cut offs and a wife beater vestππ€£

But did the dresses fit you James?ππ

Rear cage and 3 point inertia reels? What's the point, unless it's one of those "Nova" plastic plumbing onesπ Buy a couple of real ones and a garage to put them in.
-
What about the plastic pipe cages that the Nova boys used to fit with silcone back in the day?ππ (asking for a friend)

Is the De Tomaso Mangusta at 7 the real deal or some exotic kit car James?

Are you still on Lynx, James?π

Drop The Kremlin an email?π

I'd give one of my neighbours nuts to own an early Bongo, James, so ugly only a mother could love it. Fantastic Japanese madness with almost enough power to break an urban speed limit! I did own a Bongo Freetop 2 with rear wheel drive, an LSD on the back, 2.5 TDI, and auto. Great bit of kit.

First car was an Anglia 1200 Super, Β£75 with a spare engine in the boot. It had so much filler that I was in risk of asbestosis just driving it, the seat was prevented from falling through floor by a length of wooden floor board. It had an 11 month test, I was a month off my 17th birthday, when I got it home my dad leant on the drivers door, the hinge snapped and the door then ended up in his hands! Passed my test in it. Happy Days!

I've only been a member since 2007, don't contribute much of value, but have gained lots of benefit for Β£12, the price of 2gallons of fuel, a year. Unlike certain social media clubs using Facebonk, OSF is self Policing, Wβs either FIFO. It's a bargain.

James, you are a genius, (in a sneaky sort of wayπ)

She could save her money, and I'd wash my hands first.

It it had a full picnic hamper it wouldn't get out of the garage!π

If they wore shorts, Puma Court Star trainers and polo shirts in 1947,π

James, apparently it works on the roots of roses when filtered through your kidneys too, but it definitely kills the foliage on small ornamental firs, my Old Man nearly shot Our Kids mastiff for that!
