RFChris Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 http://www.buriedcar.com/ i'd say its fooked! Although i gotta admit, its not as bad as i was expecting.
mk3cokebottle Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 same kinda thing happened in guildford they buried a mini cooper to celebrate the millenium just across from the weyside pub

Burns Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 the arches and doors look pretty good in those pics...
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 it doesnt look too bad in the photo
Trevmk3 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 put back in the hole for another 50 years, either that or put some air in the tyres, a squirt of start ya bastard and take it up a drag strip
J Elvy Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 found a vid of it! dunno whether it looks fooked or in gd nick!! needs a wash first to see properly!! if it was a company doing this today they would have an air and water tight container!!!! not some leaky old pit with a lid!!!
caprixpack Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 not being funny but it looks a bit too good in my opinion, a car left in a damp hole covered in a plastic cover and mud and the body still seems inatact. i've seen osfs that have only been driven in the dry and have had the arches go and how come there is still air in the front tyres, i read somewhere that the original car had been swapped for another just seen another vid and the car was under 10ft of water too
Admin Vista Posted June 16, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 16, 2007 just seen another vid and the car was under 10ft of water too Yep looks pretty well submersed to me Not to mention knackered

BUT have you seen the pictures of it inside? Also, we're talking about stagnant water here. The stillness of it could have in-fact had a preserving effect. I'm sorry, but you'd have to go a long way to make a car look that bad. And at the end of the day we're talking about a car in a box for fifty years, not the Roswel alien incident. I seriously doubt there would be a 'cover up'. Chris
orionmojo Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 no wonder they cant start it, they left the battery connected and i'll bet they lft the handbrake on too
