Resto-mod is the way forward, looking stock(ish :mrgreen: ) but with modern running gear.

I voted Cosworth V6, although another option is the cos' V6 on carbs :ykt:

or maybe ive never seen it done cause it cant be done (or do you like a challenge?) :D

I voted Cosworth 24V, as much as I like the Essex spending big money on one doesn't make much sense cost wise when you can plug the 24V in for a cheap 200bhp. They can also be made to look old skool, carb's dizzy etc. see mine in pic below.

The Essex in my race car is all steel and not what you would call cheap, for the billet steel Farndon GAA crank you would be looking at the best part of £3k!

Cossie V6 but skip that plastic shite thing on the top of it and fit triple webers :wink:

If you can get more speed for less money from a cossie then it's worth looking into. Does the cossie sound like the essex or close? if so then cossie seems like a good idea.
