ZetecVan 2.0 Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 It's an F1 style sequential shiftlight for the van. It plugs into my Megasquirt. You can set the upper and lower rev limits for the lights. So, say, at 6000 rpm the green come on at 6100 the yellow come on. Then at 6200 the red come on. That means it's time to change gear!

Hilux Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 all credit to you fella for making your own but why don't you use a datatool revlight? yes it was made for bikes, but it only has 3 wires and a programming earth very easy to fit all you need is an electronic rev counter as you need to tap into the pulse feed, at the bottom of this web page is some vids of it in use, the one i had was set up so when max revs were hit, the whole display flashed very quickly until revs dropped upon gear change. like i say, all credit to you for making one but check the vids at bottom of this page http://www.cbr929rr.com/revlight.htm
johnny_h Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I like that. Any chance you can make some festive ones in the shape of christmas trees?
