accord83 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 You wouldn't lose it on a carpark though (no matter how much you tried....)
accord83 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I like the colour of the headlights, but then i would.
Danish Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 Interesting. I think if it's a 6x4 then it's cool just because of the engineering effort, but if the rear axle is free-wheeling and doesn't have brakes then it's not cool.
Admin Vista Posted April 10, 2017 Author Admin Report Posted April 10, 2017 Another "ute" to add to the thread. TBH I am not sure whether I like these for being different, or hate them for wasting both a van and, in this case, an RS2000 nose cone

TBH I am not sure whether I like these for being different, or hate them for wasting both a van and, in this case, an RS2000 nose cone IMG_1242.JPG The problem with these pickup conversions is that the beds are too short and the roofs are too high.
colr6 Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Would have looked more in proportion with a car roof fitted.
Admin Vista Posted April 12, 2017 Author Admin Report Posted April 12, 2017 Big bling wheels are a foreign thing aren't they?
NudgerSS Posted April 12, 2017 Report Posted April 12, 2017 I think South Africa are still in the 80's with car styling. They'll be advancing to tiger stripes soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
JP. Posted April 13, 2017 Report Posted April 13, 2017 Big bling wheels are a foreign thing aren't they? Why do you think that ??
Admin Vista Posted April 13, 2017 Author Admin Report Posted April 13, 2017 Why do you think that ?? Because they are almost only seen on South African and Australian cars. Perhaps I should have been more specific.
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted April 13, 2017 Moderator Report Posted April 13, 2017 Because they are almost only seen on South African and Australian cars. Perhaps I should have been more specific. I have never seen anything that large on an Australian Escort! The average oversize you see is 15in and thats because of the huge decline in good tyres and wheel styles available here in 13in and cheap big brake kits that require 15s. Even so 13in is still the post popular size for our Escorts and even more so for our Anglias and early Cortinas. The big wheel / rubber band type look is pretty much the domain for the the turbo Japanese car brigade.
HotRodMatt Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Looks like a Chevy Vega from the front?
PeteRS8084 Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Got to love crager ss wheels and thrush outsider side pipes, there rest is bonk though. In my opinion, and I am a seventies man from the home of cruising cars! Still I have seen worse I guess.
JP. Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Djeezz almost got m e a heart attack by seeing that pic...

eeb43 Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Did me when I saw those nice unfaded Granada rear lenses,.....what a waste want to buy some????????????????
colr6 Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Those lenses used to be one of the biggest MOT and taxi test failing near us. We had loads of the granadas as taxis, kept me in pocket money changing camshafts at 3am on a Sunday morning when they'd finished their night shift !

Just when I thought no one could find something worse than the last you guys come up with those.
