Interesting. I think if it's a 6x4 then it's cool just because of the engineering effort, but if the rear axle is free-wheeling and doesn't have brakes then it's not cool.

The problem with these pickup conversions is that the beds are too short and the roofs are too high.

I have never seen anything that large on an Australian Escort! The average oversize you see is 15in and thats because of the huge decline in good tyres and wheel styles available here in 13in and cheap big brake kits that require 15s. Even so 13in is still the post popular size for our Escorts and even more so for our Anglias and early Cortinas. The big wheel / rubber band type look is pretty much the domain for the the turbo Japanese car brigade.

Got to love crager ss wheels and thrush outsider side pipes, there rest is bonk though. In my opinion, and I am a seventies man from the home of cruising cars! Still I have seen worse I guess.

Those lenses used to be one of the biggest MOT and taxi test failing near us. We had loads of the granadas as taxis, kept me in pocket money changing camshafts at 3am on a Sunday morning when they'd finished their night shift !
