puddy
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh , The Beast . Rememberseeing that at Lakeside cruise back in the day , I did not even realise it was based on a Capri ! Mind you ,with a Rolls Royce merlin engine under the bonnet it was hardly surprising . puddy
HotRodMatt
This was the first version that led to the court case. The car resides in Spain now though does appear in the UK occasionally. And I think it's a Meteor engine not a Merlin, as the Merlin was never designed to run a transmission.

weepeeps
Yeah that's the one, the second pictures, not sure about it being pink lol. I remember that each of the sidepipes had white heat cut out of them! So cool for an impressionable 17 yr old with his first cortina mk2 that cost him a whole £70! I so wanted to make mine something special, and to me I did. Rostyle wheels with general grabber tyres, thrush hush box on my gt system, spot lamps, red light on the standard axle! Lancia front seats, air horns and the loudest radio cassette I could afford so probably about a tenner! Registration KTT497E, I will never forget my first car. Thrush hush box ?!?! Is that the 70s version of caneston combi?

Vista
Ah yes. In my defence, that was over a year ago and I normally dismiss most of what happened the previous week as no longer required. That raised roofline in the pics you posted isn't so attractive. Better without the flames though.
