HotRodMatt Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Thankfully just a Photoshop! No Escorts were harmed in the making of this... thing.
accord83 Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Lose the garden swing roll bar and spotlights, fit silver enamelled banded steels, dog dish hub caps, yeah, I'd roll along in that. (as long as the hood didnt look like one off a cheap pram)
colr6 Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Got this one sent to me today! Why would you do THIS?
HotRodMatt Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Got this one sent to me today! Why would you do THIS? image.jpg He did it to build something wildly different for a very small budget. Was a good feature in Custom Car a couple of issues ago. Not my taste though it seems very well built.
colr6 Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Probably done with knowledge of what was happening to the CFS and thought the round ones going hot rodding instead!
HotRodMatt Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Probably done with knowledge of what was happening to the CFS and thought the round ones going hot rodding instead!Runs a pre '96 BMW 318is engine so it could still get in if he wished. Lol

CWSKbHGWUAAaeDp.jpg Yep heard of the Tuareg, they do/did a thing on unknown Fords in the back of Performance Ford magazine each month and had it there.
colr6 Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Now I do like the red fiesta, be nice with a couple of hyabusas in the back!!!
HotRodMatt Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Has this been on here? Scrolled back through twenty odd pages and no sign of it...
Herr Doktor Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 That red fiesta reminds me slightly od a Lancia Delta Integrale [sp]
robert maguire Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Bar the Anglia (which was a shame to chop up) and the red fiesta which looks well I think the rest are rotten especially the capri,s .Blinged out too much.Embarrassing .
guido Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 I don't like tupperware cars, but orange/red Fiesta looks ok, apart from the frontgrill.
mk2 mike Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 I don't like tupperware cars, but orange/red Fiesta looks ok, apart from the frontgrill. I like that fiesta too. 90s styling at its best! Is it a RGA kit?
colr6 Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 I would quite happily build a fiesta like that today with a couple of hyabusas in the back for some fun!!

Famous old custom built in Romford Thing is, years ago, a lot of the custom cars were seriously radical. The work that went in to them was phenominal. Not to offend anyone, but many cars these days are modified with parts bought from a catalogue In the 70's and 80's there was only deals on wheels or John Brown Wheels who mostly sold wheels, air horns, jack up kits, and spray on window tint ( ask me how i know) Have a look on Rodsnsods to see cars built from scratch. 2

Yeah I'm on rodsnsods too (been in to custom cars for 20 years and it's where I bought my chopped Minor) but I don't really go on there now.
skeeter Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 And anyone not heard of this Ghia / Ford America built design exercise, the Fiesta Tuareg? CWSKbHGWUAAaeDp.jpg I actually quite like that!
mk2 mike Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 Verdict? Capri.jpg I like that. a lot. Reminds me of an Audi A5 albeit a squarer older design!
accord83 Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 Lot of work to get a Fox bodied Mustang/Opel Ascona B cross breed lookalike, I like it. (but I now have one foot in the Generals camp.....) I also see a bit of Mazda Montrose Coupe in the C post, but I'm weird that way.
JP. Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 2/3th Capri, 1/3th ???. Can't figur it out.. Must confess, kinda liked it. It looks a bit Skyline something made by Ford. Thinking about it, factory fitted with a 2.9 Cossy 24V it would have been something Ford "should" have made in the eighties. Butt thats my 50cents.
BaileyMex Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 Blimey there are some beauties on this thread. Some are ghastly but others kinda work....won't admit to which ones though ;o) 1
Admin Vista Posted January 9, 2016 Author Admin Report Posted January 9, 2016 Anglia coupe, hot or not? 1
