accord83 Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 The man who gave you sweeties was no rag and bone man, just a man with the bone, I hope he never showed you his puppy...............
groundedescort Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 The whole thing is Mk1 Toyota MR2 with the body cut off and the Fiesta welded in place. Well, more or less the same place. i was going to say this yes its a MR2 with the fiesta body on it look at those rear turrets could be quite fun and one way to rear wheel drive a fiesta !
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted April 4, 2016 Moderator Report Posted April 4, 2016 A bike, ya lucky git, I had an old clog with a castor off my Nans chair nailed on the bottom. We just nicked the bike, fessed up, got a free cruise and then sunshine and beaches forever. No need for dog logs or hot dogs. 2
HotRodMatt Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 Back on topic the spoilers and arches I don't mind, it's the eagle shape rear quarter windows I think look pants. 1

colr6 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 Having no door handles is what you spot wrong with this car? LOL Being a one fingered typer couldn't go into the full breakdown
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted April 6, 2016 Moderator Report Posted April 6, 2016 Being a one fingered typer couldn't go into the full breakdown Well You have a good eye for detail, I couldnt get past the ugliness to notice it didnt have any door handles. 1
colr6 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 To be honest I was disappointed with brief reply from you. Usually see your name on a reply and read on with interest, as your replies are normally long and full of information from the other side of which of course is different to ours. It's and education reading your posts and felt let down with that one. Surely there were worse blinged up over your side or have we cornered the market on hideous mods?
Admin Vista Posted April 6, 2016 Author Admin Report Posted April 6, 2016 I think the 70's cornered the market on hideous mods.......................but to be fair, in 30 / 40 years people may well be saying the same about the mods we're making to cars now.

Don't think you have to wait that long, who in the right mind would do what I'm doing to a Cortina GT, a model of which there's not a great deal of them left!

It's and education reading your posts and felt let down with that one. Surely there were worse blinged up over your side or have we cornered the market on hideous mods? You mean Im long winded and ramble on to much? Cant deny it LOL Family stopped emailing for fear of a reply. On here I often type a post up and you loose track of what you have written as you only see a few lines at a time and then when you hit enter and see how long the end result is then I feel a bit embarrassed when you see at how long it is sometimes. So sorry for that, I get bogged down trying to include every possible detail, I have unobtainable perfectionist goals so I have been told LOL. We certainly have our share of grotesque creature cars. The muscle car guys here particularly seem to follow the American taste for after market mods. Its not pretty. I havent contributed any here out of fear for being banned for offensive posts. 1
colr6 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 You just keep em coming, some of your posts are a pleasure to read and very informative 1

stephens_xpack Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 At least that white Corty is salvageable, and mods a side, looks to be in great shape.
colr6 Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 I remember the guys who came round fitting the vinyl side trims/ roofs and the chrome arch coverings, there was a waiting list to get it done back then!
Ray Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 in the main it dont look too sad, till you get to that spare wheel and boot rack lol
colr6 Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 You would have thought with all that crap on the boot and bonnet there would be enough weight to close them properly!!!!....Its attention to the small details that make or break a car LOL
HotRodMatt Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Here's the rear of that beast I posted before. Some kind of Funny Car but with a wide axle?
