khanlad Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 Salad cream is man muck! Brown sauce good
accord83 Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 All three, but if hot a small nibble has to be taken and the liquor poured away as it is guaranteed to end up all down your shirt (or if seated, leave embarrassing stains on your strides) Doesn't the one with the egg in it come in long square lengths and is called Gala Pie, where they get the 12" long square eggs from baffles me. I'm partial to a Pork and Apple pie.
aardvark101 Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 For Gods sake man, cold obviously, but with a dollop of English mustard
mk2ratter Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 For Gods sake man, cold obviously, but with a dollop of English mustard And c for me
Danish Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 Egg in a pork pie is just wrong. The pie has to be cold - if hot the jelly runs out. With brown sauce of course.
colr6 Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 Salad cream is man muck! Brown sauce good Going by that, Did you shed a tear when George Micheal pegged it ??
Admin Vista Posted December 29, 2016 Admin Report Posted December 29, 2016 Well at least this thread has shed light on the age old question, "Who ate all the pies?"
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted December 29, 2016 Moderator Report Posted December 29, 2016 Are these actually things people eat? I thought it was a cockney expression to describe what politicians always say? 1

SmokeEm Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 Do you not have pork pies over there? Melton Mowbray here in the UK is world famous for their pies.

No im pretty sure we dont have any meat in a pie that you can eat cold. There is the traditional Aussie meat pie but its mostly beef with other parts of the cow they dont like to tell you about exactly and bits of rubber glove to give this chewy grisly effect.
colr6 Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 You know a good pork pie when you get one, it's got sawdust in it!!
Admin Vista Posted December 29, 2016 Admin Report Posted December 29, 2016 You know a good pork pie when you get one, it's got sawdust in it!! And all the lips, ears, eyebrows and bumholes! So not so different to Cornish Pasties in that respect maybe?!
