I used to go to this meet when I lived in Ascot,  always a great assortment of cars and always busy. The best thing is trying to see people get pit via the barrier once their ticket is validated..........I have seen the barrier removed by force lol. Happy days

Very nice weather here, hottest end of October since god knows how long. Had a drive around the lanes, this windmill is one of the few in the area which is still working .

Same place different car!

After over 25 years of joy with the RS1800 / rally car replica it was time to let it go. Getting in and out of that car became more painful every week (roll cage, bucket seats, harness) and the car isn't comfortable at all. Now got another Mk2 at the other end of the scale: completely standard. Me happy.

Yes, Lasers are a copy of the GP1 wheels (thicker spokes).

Oh so those GP1 wheels for sale for 800 quid would really not be any difference in appearance to the Lasers that I have now?

The spare wheel on my car is a GP1 wheel. Photo on the left, on the right is a Laser wheel. Guess I saved you 800 quid ! Plus probably the same or more on postage .... 🤣

There are 3 types of GP1 wheels. The UK type 6x13 ET19 with a H75AB number which you are referring to, the German 6x13 ET19 with a H75EG number which I was referring to and the German 6x13 ET5 wheel.

The GP1 wheels that were for sale that we were talking about were the German type. A set of 4 were sale for 800 pounds but there is little point getting them if they the same as my Lasers. I was thinking of getting a set of RS wheels or their GP1 equivalent that you were referring too.

6x13 as pictured are the rally grp1 wheel in the UK (totally different to the laser wheel in spoke style) ATS

7x13 are ET5 are also known in the UK as grp1 Ronel

7.5x13 et19 are Capri and escort X-pack wheels Ronel

Ronal.

7x13 ET5 was never homologated for GP1. Maybe it is something like everyone calling an arched Escort "Gp4".

7.5x13 are ET-19.

Laser wheel nuts are nothing special. What nuts did you get?

Remember the wrong nuts they set were the Group 4 ones I eventually sent to you. The specific Laser wheel nuts I was after have an extra neck piece beyond the taper to offer better location.
