Whos up for more Tour of the Moor?

We are currently looking at a mid May date again to keep the costs down. Nothing set in stone yet.

Just wanted to know from you guess, were you happy with the length (miles) of the 2022 Tour ? I've got a route in mind, just don't wanna go too big.

Will keep you all updated when the date is confirmed and tickets go on sale.

I’d be up for it and would be looking at staying the following week on holiday if I can park my car and trailer somewhere safe.

Are you looking for somewhere safe on site, or somewhere local to leave it? If the latter  welcome to leave it with us for a week.

Thanks Scott, we were so impressed with the coastal/ village part of last years run it would be nice to spend a bit more time down there. It’s a bloody long haul down then the the tour and then back up again in 3 days. I’ll PM you a bit more closer the the date if that’s ok.

I am def up for this, regardless of any possible clash with Classic Ford. Myself and my kids had a great time on the 2022 Tour. Great Tour, Great Campsite, Great people. What's not to like ? I know one or two others that may join too.

Tricky one.......

It is and it isn't. I think a lot of the scene has moved on from static shows and want to enjoy their cars out in groups on the road. The problem is if we go later, the campsite is into mid and peak seasons so the costs are much higher

I’m definitely up for the tour, there are enough local static car shows throughout the season to keep me happy with a good variety of makes and models, It takes me nearly 2 hours just to travel out of Cornwall sometimes so the closer the better for me!

You'd win the "Furthest Travelled" trophee !

I think thats for driving it all the way? I dont think it counts most of the journey in a cargo container and then I have to arrange the car to get there as well. 🤔

Tour of the Moor would be the obvious choice for me, the 'classic' cars are getting more modern at every show........ pluss 2 hours to escape!

I have what's considered to be both, with a Mk2 Escort and a Mk3 Mondeo ST.  However, we went to Ford Fair at Silverstone this year and said that would be the last time we attend, for the exact reasons you have stated.

Definitely up for this. we look forward to it every year, last year we did a scenic car tour to Belgium. Which was expensive and OK ish. then we did totm and it was substantially cheaper and much much much much better,
