puddy Posted November 4, 2007 Report Posted November 4, 2007 Had a few texts this afternoon from my mate toby kent @ the pod with his storming pre/x flow powered mk1 cortina. The 1st was a new pb 12.75 secs,then a while later another new pb @ 12.72 and then the final one was another pb @ .............................12.67!!!!!! His best 60 ft was 1.68 which he reckons is where he found a lot of the time. Looks like you kent powered racers have got a bit of catching up to do Well done toby puddy

Big thanks to Tom, Scott and John for your help and cups of tea in the queue and wow what a queue! 3 a-breast for the run up strip! Don't know how I did such good numbers! (well I do but I wouldn't put it in the public domain! ) I think the weather was a contributing factor for sure. Perfect for drag racing. Shame to have spent all day queuing I would have liked to have met a few people like Gaz who i have only ever posted to! The racing I did see I was impressive, but as you know you can't compete and watch at Pod. How did everyone else get on? Jeff - it is a shame that the engine is coming out of James' car but I understand your business agenda - perhaps the engines new owner can continue to pester me Puddy - surprisingly nice post from you!!
