You don't piss on a legend. Think of it the Escort is a focus with huge plastic arches and plastic wheeltrim minilites and the Cortina is a Mondeo with fake chrome and an even less convincing plastic walnut veneer trim.

The mini was a cult legend and they bought the name back so BMW could increase sales of the rover designed new mini. The designs of that car look the nuts though...

As was said earlier in the thread it was done really well with the new Mini, of course it wont be the same but i have no problem with retro looking modern cars. Just look at the new wave of retro looking American muscle cars - they look amazing!

THATS RIGHT!! you ned a compute to tell the car its had a service by a garage. has it had one? HOW DO YOU KNOW? cos the light tells you? please! new cars are ok by the government but i'll never accept them as being proper cars. even in my 1990 orion, thats 18 years old, has no heated seats, satnav, lights to tell me when i need to fart, it needs to warm up in the morning, you can smell fumes through the heaters and the fookin thing understeers and skids like a bastard. i'll still trust it way more than ESP, ABS, CRAP and any other shite you can hit me with. thanks, but no thanks.
