That was my mate, he told me about it.

The nissa was a mates car. He's just inherited £10,000 and was planning to spend it all on a yellow MKI Escort he keeps going on about......

Freaky. good to hear you were aware of them.

This happened to me twice in one week going through brookmans park in my pretty standard focus, followed twice round the block, on pointless detours and going once round a village green by a black IS200.

Apparently he didn't really know the local lanes though.

As said be safe and aware out there peeps. Especially you lot with pricey/desirable mk1's. Go straight to the local nick if you can't shake em and whatever you do don't go home.

.....by the police who then breatherlised me on my drive in front of my neighbours.:(

I was sober but apparently they saw me "rear wheel skid" around an island so decided to pull me. :D

yeah, things like that are creepy, i had a guy follow me home a while back, all the way from leicester to nottingham, lost him on some side streets tho

got home and my neighbour was giving me odd looks, turns out he was coming home from the same area and had seen me shoot off in a random direction for no apparent reason

If it happens again, just pull over outside some houses.

They'll either:

1. take note of where the car is kept and prolly do a lap of the block.

2. or pull up behind you, get out and approach.

As soon as they're out of sight, or out of the car, floor it!

I had someone follow me home from work once thought i'd lost him then he appeared behind just as i pulled up on my drive he drove up on my drive as well, so i grabbed the old extendable wheel brace an thought here we go, turns out his son had just bought an anglia and he wanted the web site address he'd seen plastered across my back window. thing that made me laugh is he knew i was trying to get away from him but he knew where i lived anyway

I've been at both ends of this one.

I've had pikeys chasing me across Northants trying to buy my Anglia van.... as has another good mate of mine, he had an incident on the A14 where some Pikeys chased him for miles trying to buy his van, they eventually got up along side and at 70mph started the bidding.... it finished at 6 grand.... but they didnt buy it Reserve Not Met

In the end I had a run of stickers done that say 'NOT FOR SALE' to put in our windows and touch wood that seems to have put most people off asking if its for sale.

Got a couple left if anyone wants one £2 inc postage

And then the other time was went out for some food one night and there were some young chimps in a Fiesta blocking our drive, so when I hooted them out the way they drove into Bedford and for the first 10 minutes or so they were larking about and then they started chucking stuff out the car and one of the drinks cartons hit my car so I started following them.

After about 10 minutes of me following them round Bedford it suddenly dawned on them that their Fiesta was never going to out run my Escort Cosworth and looked like it was going to be a game of who was going to run out of petrol first.....

But I could hear the Kebabs calling so I gave up in the end.. but the point was made..
