sometimes you realise that working hard isnt just about making money. sure its nice to have cash but sometimes its rewarding to do something good for a worthy cause. the last couple of days have been hard work and late nights working till after 11pm for both myself and jason(bomber). but its been worth it. a friend of ours has cancer and is quite ill at the moment. wont go into that too much but hes not doing good.

anyway hes got a 2.0s capri hes been playing with, but needs it bodywork finishing and he wanted it resprayed but just didnt have the energy to do anything on it himself. i kept a couple of days free this week and got together with jason to see what we could do.

i picked it up wednesday morning and with the help of my daughter (who doesnt normally like getting dirty) and jason got it stripped down

by the afternoon. i painted boot shut area late wednesday night then thursday was mad getting rest of it rubbed down and prepped with the help of jason. getting the stripes off was an absolute pain. got it inside and painted it last night (thursday) about 10.30pm. and got it all put back together today. just got to give it a final buff then drop it back to him tomorrow.  like i said mad couple of days but the satisfaction of giving it back to him all done hoping he will get better soon to enjoy it is payment enough. we done it all agreeing we wouldnt take a penny off him. all paint, materials, labour supplied by us free of charge,  done it for a mate, not a profit. painted in french racing blue.

cheers jason for the hard work and late nights.
