katana Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 The more you look at it, I would like to see it side by side with a current 5.0L Mustang - think i'd know which one i'd pick!

HotRodMatt Posted June 14, 2020 Report Posted June 14, 2020 @HotRodMatt Still has the tyre labels on. That looks great, too many doors though.

With the one I bought its part of their Trackside series with the Hornby associated logo so its much smaller scaled to be used with HO scaled train sets I suspect. Naturally that means I going to have to purchase some sort of model train arrangement now with cars and people or I have wasted by 7 quid on it. As with the real thing its always end in domino spending. Of course im too old to play with model trains its just about not wasting money.

Only difference is they've not used a square front numberplate.

I wonder why they didn't approach me for an Orange Mk1 Model with more attractive square headlights and smarter engine? 😛 1

Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted July 23, 2020 Author Moderator Report Posted July 23, 2020 Really a Subaru Impreza underneath. For sale on Ebay at the moment if you have 40k
colr6 Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 Not overly impressed with the front spoiler, but certainly looks a neat install. Shame the scoobies in my mind sound bloody awful
meXEco Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 Not really an install when you're dropping an escort over a scoob chassis-more an 'onstall'?

katana Posted July 24, 2020 Report Posted July 24, 2020 Oooh I don't know! Colin McRae built himself a full on, 4WD WRC Mk2 Escort based on a Cosworth Escort platform just for a giggle. No real difference to 'Project Binky' - if you can't buy it, some people will just built it, because they can!
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted July 26, 2020 Author Moderator Report Posted July 26, 2020 Im not sure about having just front bumpers?
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted August 25, 2020 Author Moderator Report Posted August 25, 2020 A Cortina Bakki. Cant blame Australia for them wheels this time, surprisingly we never did Cortina utes. 1
katana Posted August 30, 2020 Report Posted August 30, 2020 I'm guessing fitted with a 302 Ford small block V8 - looks fit! 1

katana Posted September 22, 2020 Report Posted September 22, 2020 Think I prefer the stocker! As usual with Aus customs but reversed this time, the wheels were ok but then transformed to 'full on' awful LOL. 1
