Better with one of these

Thats definitely much better and detailed. With the one I bought its part of their Trackside series with the Hornby associated logo so its much smaller scaled to be used with HO scaled train sets I suspect. Naturally that means I going to have to purchase some sort of model train arrangement now with cars and people or I have wasted by 7 quid on it. As with the real thing its always end in domino spending. Of course im too old to play with model trains its just about not wasting money.

Look more closely. It's actually a model of my car. Only difference is they've not used a square front numberplate.

Yes I did notice it resembled your car very closely but had no idea it was modelled off your car! Thats just showing off! I wonder why they didn't approach me for an Orange Mk1 Model with more attractive square headlights and smarter engine? 😛

I wouldn't mind seeing this car from the front if anyone has other images of it?

I need to be more careful for what I wish for.

Not really an install when you're dropping an escort over a scoob chassis-more an 'onstall'?

Install onstall whichever it still looks tidy

Oooh I don't know! Colin McRae built himself a full on, 4WD WRC Mk2 Escort based on a Cosworth Escort platform just for a giggle. No real difference to 'Project Binky' - if you can't buy it, some people will just built it, because they can!
