I am hooked on watching Millyard videos now, clever bloke really doesn't cut it. Some insane brain and engineering skills the fella has, King amazing.....😎

Ha Ha HA - for bikers, he's been on our radar for many years but covid has helped bringing his video's to the fore and agree his skills are other worldly but the most annoying thing is his 'matter of fact' approach - like, doesn't everyone have these skills, it's like he doesn't realise how good he is LOL! I wonder what his neighbours make of him as some of those creations are a little loud!

Now that looks great. Unfortunately unless its got a Subaru in the back of it, it will be shocking. I had a bay window camper with a 1600 twin port. It was slow, thirsty, cracked heads for fun and whilst those on the rear seat were warm the driver was freezing. One freezing Yorkshire Dales morning we set off to Grannies. My wife and kids were in shirt sleeves due to the heat until the pop top condensation started dripping. I was driving in a Russian ski commando coat, British naval issue gun layers mitts and a balaclava, the hard edge of the mitts were used to scrape the ice of the inside of windscreen. The front was like the North Pole, and the rear like an equatorial rain forest. Bloody awful things!

Scene tax by summer users, but I could have the engine out quickly (see cylinder heads) and it only weigh 180lbs so I could carry it over to the bench.

Never meet your heroes! There goes my illusion of touring the long hot outback roads in a classic camper!

My cousin did that in a VW Kombi sometime in the early 90's. I remember lots of stories of roadside running repairs.

Get a Mazda Bongo/Ford Freda, same but the badges. Brilliant kit, excellent heating, ice cold air con 8 seats, Ford 2.5TDI, and an electric lifting roof. We loved ours as a general hack but my son and his mates found it a bit uncomfortable to sleep in during a Highlands gale. The daft buggers parked it beam on to the wind, the guy in the roof bed had to come down due to motion sickness. Most are 4wd but mine was 2wd with a slippy diff, it never got stuck. I miss that old machine.

My first car was a Mk1 Bongo! It was just as much of a steamer as air-cooled camper in the heat! Aircon was a vent at the front you opened with your foot. If im going to put the kettle on I may just as well trip in the Twincam in Summer! LOL
